Easter Picnic

I love to cook and Easter has always been a holiday that I have enjoyed entertaining.

For many years, our my family and friends have gathered together to celebrate Easter at Lee Park.

Celebrating its 24th anniversary this year, Easter in the Park, located at Turtle Creek Boulevard and Lemmon Avenue, is slated for Sunday, April 12, 2009, from 12:45 p.m. - 5 p.m. If you decide to join Dallasites at this fun event, I promise you'll have a fantastic time.

I usually start planning our Easter event a few weeks ahead. Great food, great friends and great times!

Here is a sampling of the food that I'll be "creating" again this year.

Since I've always believed that grown ups enjoy getting Easter baskets as well as children, I've either made personalized individual baskets for my friends or this particular year, cute Bunny Gift Bags.
